Region 12798 [S17E07] decayed slowly. Two B class events were recorded during the day, the largest was a long duration B3.0 event peaking at 23:53 UT. This event was likely associated with a filament eruption over the region. A near simultaneous filament eruption was observed at the southeast limb. LASCO imagery covering the hours after the event was not yet available as of the time of this report.S17W06 Data 2021-01-24
